I wouldn't take the risk at that young age,sometimes when a young pup goes down it is hard to bring one back, my Micah was about seven months when he was tested and diagnosed with MVD he was treated at UT in Knoxville. he is going to be seven yrs in october this year and is doing fine, i highly recommend UT to anyone they are among the best
