I didn't mean housebreaking. Sean is almost 100% trained for that. I agree that consistency and praise really work wonders!

I should have explained this better.

I meant training so he will learn how to follow directions (i.e. sit) when needed. He may be 6 but has many traits of a puppy (as do many Yorkies) so that kind of training could be helpful.

BTW, Sean is a "rescue" and is doing extremely well in such short time. The one thing I continue to work on is his separation anxiety when I'm out of his sight.
