Default My Yorkie is sick please help

Hi first time posting here.

I bought my Yorkie at 8 months old 2 months ago. She's always had loose stools. Recently she has been trying to pee and only drops come out. She will try to pee 8-10 times in a minute. So took her to the vet. The vet tried to get a urine sample for a urine analysis but because her bladder is so small and she is constantly emptying it there was nothing there. He put her on antibiotics for a UTI just to be safe. He also took X-rays of her bladder to check for stones and there were none. All clear. He also said it looks like she is going into her first heat and that might be part of the problem. She is licking her vulva so much it's very irritated. I need to buy her a cone I guess to keep her from licking?

Next problem-the loose stools. The did a fecal test and she is positive for giardia!!! I am so freaked out about this!!!!!!! I have two young children and she has licked and kissed all of our mouths. We try to not let her but she sneaks the kisses in lol. So now I am washing everything in our house, all bedding, spraying the couches with Lysol, mopping the floors, washing the kennel and dog bedding. But what if she is still shedding the spores? How long to I have to clean like this? She has only taken two doses of flagyl so far. Everyone is scared to let her in my house now. We love her so much I just can't believe all the problems she has came with.

I bought her not fixed, still 4 extra puppy teeth. The lady said she was house trained and she for sure isn't. So many issue and now we are madly in love with her. I sure hope things settle down a little and things get easier with her. We plan to get her fixed but have to make sure she isn't in heat first.

Any advise about giardia and the UTI and possible first heat? Thank you
