I did not jump into this breed, and breed, I waited 2 years to learn EVERYTHING I could, research every pedigree I could get my hands on, learn everything about genetics, and "calculated risks", etc. before I made the decision to attempt a breeding. Do I consider myself a show breeder? No. I consider myself an exhibitor. I am HOPEFUL my little seven week old kiddos will grow up to be all I tried to throw together in the gene pool for them to be, but I don't have a crystal ball, so we wait. Until then I suppose, I am a back yard breeder, at least Mommy Dearest says so.. LOL

That is sad, I'm sorry your mom said that to you. You are doing everything right and one day soon, you will be proving her wrong with all you have acomplished in your dogs. All the best!
