A friend of mine went thru this recentley when he went to Italy. His pup was barking like crazy on the plane so he went to the bathroom with a pad and she was fine. He said she was whining a little but that is because she will only do #2 outside!
I am lucky. Diezel follows my lead...If we are out all I do is take the pad into the bathroom and sit on the toilet and he goes...lol its cute If there is not toilet around all I have to do is say go potty and usually he does his business. Maybe you can get yours trained before you leave to go potty on command?
