No, I would not give babyfood bc it's balanced for human babies, not AAFCO balanced for a dog's very specific nutrient needs. In fact, you could make things worse to be honest.
What brand of food are you feeding? I'd just feed a top notch food and perhaps supplement w/ some fish oil or coconut oil.
