I hesitated to post on this thread, as my memories are painfull. But at stage four I would elect palliative care along with holistic treatments.

And like Brit said the age of the dog is a factor and other underlying.ing health conditions plus expected future quality of life.

I lost two pets to cancer within two years. Zoey had lymphoma. She lasted six wks from diagnosis date. I believe she had stage 4 as well. She underwent the full Madison Wisconsin chemo protocol. However she did. Tolerate the chemo well enough. There is something like a five to ten percent survival rate for this cancer in canines. The treatment cost and this was four yrs ago was approx 4500.
