This is a very hard decision & one that takes lots of consideration. My Sparky has Lymphoma & it was stage 4. he went through the chemo BUT we also contacted a Holistic Vet who sent us vitamins & supplements & recipes for diet for sparky WHILE he had the Chemo & I FULLY believe this is why Sparky hardly missed a beat & is still the same little booger he's always been aside from his aging. Sparky has been in remission for 4 years now & he was 9 yrs old when he was diagnosed. He did develope a shake from the Chemo but it does not seem to phase him in the least.. it's kind of a little tremor in his hind legs mostly but does not slow him down from running up & down the stairs & running all over our back yard. I hope this helps. My DH & I agreed that if at any time during Sparkys treatment it appeared to be too much for Sparky, we would STOP treatment .
