I haven't tried to feed my pup many fruits - he does eat pieces of apple when I am feeding them to my bird. And - will eat some of the other fruits I feed my bird.
I'm sure occasional small amounts of fruit won't hurt our pups. They have never bothered my dogs in any way.
I think my dog didn't want a piece of orange I offered him once. I think it was a little "too sour" for him. And, he doesn't like bananas - I think it's the texture of bananas that he doesn't like.
