You're most definitely not "caving" -- you're only doing what's right (what fits) for *your* dog. Not all dogs or animals can tolerate tight confinement, and who can blame them...?

You're doing GREAT! And super great job on the long walks too - you've no idea how good that is for them! Well, you probably do actually
