My husband keeps telling me to hire a handler and he would be a champion by now, but this is something I want to do.. I want to be the one that is showing him when is championed.. It is my hardwork that has been put into him.. I have female out of my own breeding that is a very nice girl and I am so very excited about her.. But I will not take her out until her sire is championed, so I might have to hire a handler.. But I would not even consider hiring a handler unless my dog was a very nice example of the breed.. I have personally seen handlers with dogs that are not the best examples of the breed win the class and shortly after champion the dog..

I can also say that when I walk into a ring I personally have never felt such nervousness in my entire life! Sometimes I feel like I am outside my body watching, sad but true!

Try taking a xanax for those nerves girl. That is what a friend of mine does and has been showing for 5 years now and has a couple of Champions.

We all need help starting out. Getting a handler is not a bad idea if he is what you think should be shown. It might only get expensive depending on the degree of quality he is for showing.
This way you can put your all into his daughter now.
