Re-watching the series and picking up things I missed the first time or had forgotten:
Littlefinger was involved with Olenna Tyrell in the murder of Joffrey.
Littlefinger gave Lysa the poison to kill her husband, Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King whom Ned Stark ended up replacing, and advised Lysa to blame the Lannisters . . . setting in motion the whole big mess in the Seven Kingdoms.
It will be interesting to see where Littlefinger ends up in the end.
