Well I guess there are many different terms when it comes to this subject.. I have only shown my boys on a limited basis.. I also personally believe they both are gorgeous examples of the breed, but than again they are "my" boys.. I can count on two hands the number of shows I have attended as an exhibitor.. My husband keeps telling me to hire a handler and he would be a champion by now, but this is something I want to do.. I want to be the one that is showing him when is championed.. It is my hardwork that has been put into him.. I have female out of my own breeding that is a very nice girl and I am so very excited about her.. But I will not take her out until her sire is championed, so I might have to hire a handler.. But I would not even consider hiring a handler unless my dog was a very nice example of the breed.. I have personally seen handlers with dogs that are not the best examples of the breed win the class and shortly after champion the dog..

I can also say that when I walk into a ring I personally have never felt such nervousness in my entire life! Sometimes I feel like I am outside my body watching, sad but true!
