Based purely on the pictures, I'd say he's the same puppy. Is there some reason you are skeptical, other than the feeling that the might not be the same puppy? Depending on when the first picture was taken and when you picked him up, he's definitely going to look a bit different, because he's growing by the day. Each week he's going to look different and will continue to change up to 2
years old!
If you're completely new to the breed, it might be helpful to read up on the book "Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies", even if you've owned other dog breeds before.
