Default potty training at the age of 8

Hey Guys

i'm in deep s**t now. so its been two weeks now since we found Dolly and she has been doing ok around our other dog Cooper and doing ok overall.

no i wake up every other day with a poop accident waiting for me in the living room. i try my best to give food no later than 7 pm but sometimes it doesnt happen. I leave to work in the morning and leave food and water for them all day but they wont eat until i am home and sometimes later too. Cooper has been trained to ring a bell to get out and poop and he would hold it all night until i wake up and let him out but for her this isnt the case and i dont know what to do now. is she too old to hold it? or should i wake up in the middle of the night to let her out or what should i do?

also i do not want to have a weewee pad in the house and do not want to confuse BOTH of them of whether to go inside or outside, i want to be consistent that inside is a NO NO.

ive discovered she used to be hit or beaten up cuz whenever i start shouting if she makes a mistake she gets super scared and hides. also if i wanna pick her up she pulls back a little as if shes scared i'll hit her.

ALL THE HELP IS NEEDED PLEASE
