Default help

I have not been on this forum in 6 years, mayb3. It got very stressful and vicious for a while. PLEASE don't jump me for my inability to run to the vet immediately. I had a dog shot last month that required surgery, a goat that required surgery the month before, and I will take my dog to the vet but I just want to see if there is anything that can be treated at home or if this is something y'all think that cannot be treated w/o extreme costs before I do.

Chloe is 10. At her last grooming session they cut her on the foot and blood went everywhere. They forgot to tell me til I called when I got home and she was limping. I think I start there..... but may not be related... that was about 3 weeks ago.

Since then.... she seem to gradually over a week and 1/2 get better.

Then suddenly 3 days ago we noticed her sorta limping again.... and then severely limping. I thought it was still related to that. Then suddenly her back legs gait changed where she had trouble walking and keeping them straight? She still was eating, drinking, using the bathroom (although she was sitting in her waste some because she couldn't hold herself up on hind legs in a squat. One leg will pull back SLIGHTLY for a neuro test.... will not push at all.... the other leg does both but not strong. Last night she SCREAMED in the middle of the night. It scared me to death! This morning again, but less intense. She wasn't eating or drinking today so I gave her some nutrical and she loved it and started drinking. My mommy, my 14 yr old, skyped her from my mother and she perked her ears for first time today. Her body feels.... rigidish? She isn't going still like in death but it feels off... can't explain it. Her heart rate is 90 bpm. She is 4lbs. I noticed a tiny whimper when I had her on her back and was just feeling to see if her abdomen was distended....when I got down towards her female organs. It is not distended... however it is tighter than normal... I think. Her resp rate is 108 beats per min +-4. Her resp rate is very irregular... fast fast fast slow/deep fast/shallow fast fast slow .... but she is NOT panting. Today she is lethargic.

To me... she seems like she is actively dying.... but from what? It is very hard for me to take her to a vet knowing I will have to refuse treatment that could save her.... because of an extreme cost. She has had a good life. Is there anything this could be..... that y'all can think of... that is just an easy fix if I go to the vet.... given the info I have provided. BTW... no fever.... no sign of infection in the wound from where they groomed her. It could just be a weird coincidence but I had to mention it.

PLEASE DON"T TEAR ME A NEW ONE. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY IF I COULD I WOULD.... IT IS A HORRRIBLE RUN OF AWFUL LUCK WITH MY ANIMALS.... IT HAS DRAINED ME! I SAVED MY GOAT WHEN THE DOCS SAID..... LET HER GO... AND IT WORKED.... I WOULD DO IT IF I COULD WITH HER.
