Max's first harness was like a Puppia, different brand though because they didn't make one small enough.
I know leather doesn't sound comfortable for a harness, but think of it like soft leather gloves or a really, really good pair of leather shoes. My boys have been wearing the classic Black Buddy Belts for close to 7 years. Some of their other colors are even softer, like the Cocoa, now replaced with Dark Brown leather.
