The things you'll learn from talking to Yorkie breeders will help you appreciate the breed and can really help you get connected to other good breeders in your search. You can request to be put on a waiting list for puppies; some breeders sell 1 year old show potentials or retired champion Yorkies. Members here can provide recommendations, but best research is your own research
