I tried the steps but Zoey won't use it so I made a ramp. Uses it like a pro so if the steps don't do it for your pup, try the ramp. I also have a water bowl by the bathroom door and pee pad in the bathroom in case either her or Magnus needs it.
Magnus usually holds it till morning (he's 15 lbs so he can hold longer) but Zoey uses the pad from time to time. I place it in the bathroom b/c it's just easier to clean up in case they "miss". There are times when they have their front paws on the pad but not the back. And they think they're peeing on the pad. LOL |
