I really appreciate the advice! Cooper has never used a pee pad. I go out with him every time. He does wake me most nights to go potty. I usually go out with him at 10:00 pm for the last time of the day and then he usually wakes me around 3am or 4. They we get up around 6 am. I thought we had this licked. The only change has been that we go to the lake each weekend now. He loves it there and we have a runner right outside the camper for him to be outside. He will roll and play in the grass, watch the kids and other dogs and bask in the sun.
I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. I just don't know. I will get steps for him. There is no stopping him when we are asleep from jumping down. May as well make it as safe as I can. Maybe if I make a line of pee pads he will pee on one. I just wish he would wake me. Not like him at all. |
