I take a baby's toothbrush, and push the doggie toothpaste ( I use Petsmile because of VOHC approval) way down into the bristles.
She then chew on it and brushes her own teeth for the most part. We do that twice about everyday or every other day. She loves the beef flavor and I can even just rub it on her teeth.
