When mine was 5 months old he fought harness, brushing, grooming, just about everything you need to do for a Yorkie. Took him the groomers & found out he was better for her than me. Hum... At 5 months we went into a Buddy Belt harness. He was terrible putting it on, it has a buckle not a clip, so took a little longer. It was like pulling teeth. But as time went on, I would say about a month, he now picks his leg up to put it on. So funny he now knows his right leg goes in first. Just a lot of practice and patience.
I use Frontline plus for flees & ticks.
Yorkies need a lot of hands on. They will learn.
