Be persistent! See if you can take him into the groomer just for a quick little brush from time to time so he gets more used to it. At home keep brushing him a little each time for just a short time with high value treats. He has to get the idea that this is going to happen regularly so he should give in. He clearly sees himself as the in charge one! Very Yorkie of him
