Thanks for the reply!!! But, for 4 years there was never a problem. Just all of a sudden. If same sex aggression is common, is this how it plays out ... perfect for 4 years, then all of a sudden a drastic 180-degree change? Also, they are from the same blood line -- does that even matter?

Finally, the daughter does not seem to be hurting at all. Same tail wagging, smiling dog as every other day -- nothing out of the ordinary with her health. But, we could take her to the vet.
