I couldn't have given any better advice & if your Mom lives at home, once Mom comes home, consider some day care or having an aide come in at least once a week to allow yourself & your Dad to get a break. Taking care of yourself means just that and it includes a break. It's amazing how much stronger you will be and how much clearer you will think (same for Dad) once you get some type of adult sitter to take over for a bit. She'll be safe - you'll be sane.
