Yes, and i put it in her mouth; after she's done flinging herself around in the burrito. twice now she's almost hurt herself. Launching off husband's lap, and then last night with her head. It's simply not working. she's anxious, and is taking her milkbones, hiding them, unearthing them, and howling. This happens when she senses it's close to med time. I can't calm her down easily and had to remove the bones. Right now it's 15 minutes until her meds and she's searching around for the bones. I feel for her. I'm sure she's very confused. She's a fantastic puppy, and is rarely reprimanded for anything, as she's a good dog. She doesn't understand that she can't tell us "no" for this. I know it's for her own good, but I hate that she's upset. However, the medication administration is a huge problem. I can't see a way around giving it to her in her food. |
