For us, it really is strictly is a true emergency insurance for a bizarre and expensive occurrence. I can take care of minor or moderate costs for the little guy, but $10,000 (not reimbursed) does not come as easily.
I have a high deductible of $1,000. So my annual premium is about $125 for Winston who is 4.
