Btw, the honking is bad. You have to break these coughs and you can't be afraid to use more drugs and knock him out. I was initially scared off by drugs but ladyjane told me you have to do it and she's right. We had one day of 6 hours straight of honking - we took him to the ER and we're going to euthanize him. They opted to shoot him up and we took him home and for the last four months I have minimal coughing here becuase of the Hycodan. We started it with 1/4 pills every 6 hours but when he got bad we went to a higher dose and he now has an amazing quality of life. CT is a very bad condition, your pup is young, you need to get a handle on this now and fast. I do think ours is bothered by irritants in the air, we have had to stop using certain spices when we cook and cannot use fragrances. Anything that will irritate the trachea is not good especially when he is this inflamed.
