: Passing CGC test is a very good indicator that you and your dog are prepared for testing/evaluations.

Here in the US the Pet Partners and Delta society are popular training groups. Also in some areas the Red Cross certifies therapy dogsled has teams that go out to places.

Pet Partners was formerly Delta Society. Do you have a facility in mind? If so, I advise you contact them to see if they're already working with a specific therapy dog organization because you'll have to test/evaluate through them. Your local Human Society is another good source.

The liability insurance is key in these certifications, as many nursing home and schools etc will not welcome the pups without that insurance.

This is true especially with hospitals.

Good look with your goals. Sounds like your pup may be good at this with the training. ask Round, maybe some here at YT from Canada can give you more information. Also check with your vet.
Good luck!!
