I did go back to recalls, and found there have been NO recalls for Cesars, between 2009-2016.....I did not see, but did not dig with determined vigor, looking for recalls before 2009, but I just did not find any....
........there have been several for your brand...those pesky little "booster balls" that were infused into the food causing toxic levels of bad stuff in dogs, making some dogs terminally ill........ Please tell me where you found "many" recalls for Cesars so I can tell my cousin....so far, I have NOTHING to offer her as proof that the food is unhealthy....now that dentist did come up with his own little rating, but there have been no recalls I could find that indicate a nutritional issue with that food.....
It is like ALL dog food....some dogs do not tolerate some dog food....so dont feed it to the dog that can not tolerate it! I can not tolerate eating apples.....HUGE gastric pains, etc....but that does not make all apples bad for everyone....just an issue with me!
I know alot of seniors that feed their dogs this food, because they can afford to feed it.....I do not want these seniors to think they are killing their pets by feeding this food....I can find NO recalls, seniors can afford to feed it, and until I see that there is a regular, documented pattern of illness following ingestion by a substantial number of pets, attributed to this food, I have to defend it for the people that are only able to afford this food, especially seniors that feed this. If there is no documented evidence that this is a poor quality food, backed by research and supported by recalls, while I may not feed it to my dogs for whatever reasons, it cant be condemned for use by others whose pets DO tolerate it and love it. |
