How old is he? Most do wake during the night when real young. I would give him a few nights to settle in and let him bark, unless you want him in your bed . Some people put them in bed right away. With Cali who was 9 weeks when I got her I would put her in her playpen by my bed and she would sleep intil 1 or 2 in the morning then cry so I would put her on her little carrier on teh pillow next to me and she would go right back to sleep.
