i noticed a growth on my babies paw/pad a few weeks ago. It is on the out side of his rear right paw. It is growing and a deep redish color. My vet was kind enough to look at it and told me it will require surgery and a lot of other treatments. I am at a loss at what to do because the "quote" is close to $500.00. I just spent close to that a few months ago to have an abnormal growth on his tummy removed and his teeth cleaned. On a personal note, I just stated receiving my SSI and after the monthly bills, I'm left with around $400.00 to live on for the entire month. I am not asking for financial help but would like any information regarding charities available. I live in Huntington Beach, CA and have searched for charities in my area.

I have attached a picture that was taken last night. Has anyone ever seen something like this or have knowledge of what it is? I am more than gratefull for any information.
