My cousin, who can not afford RC, has been feeding her 3 Chihuahuas and the retired little male yorkie I let her have, Cesars for going on 12 years now....they love the food, they are healthy as horses, their coats are shiny and they never have vomiting or diarrhea! Now, I do not feed mine Cesars, but if I was short on money, and I had seniors that were eating soft food, I think I would feel comfortable feeding this brand.....her dogs have certainly done fabulously on it, even years ago when she was breeding her Chihuahuas, she fed them Cesars.....I have never seen a recall on Cesars, I have seen recalls on the BB....judging from the completely different response in your dogs and other dogs to Cesars, I am thinking perhaps there is something your particular dogs do not tolerate in the dog food, that does not adversely affect others, rather than strictly an issue with the dog food.
