I have heard of that but the recall from Blue Buffalo (which was too high of levels of Vitamin D) was from 2010 and it was the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Chicken recipe. We feed our dogs the Grain-Free Wilderness Red Meat.

Over the past few years, the main complaints from pet store clerks say that people who returned Blue Buffalo is mainly either because of the grains were making their dog sick, or their dog didn't like the taste. Buying grain-free, I'm not worried about that.

Lastly, the Blue Buffalo food has been constant ever since the moment we got the Yorkie around Christmas. The 2 weeks she did not have the Cesar food was when she wasn't sick even once. Just the past few days, she has got really sick again, and she also just started eating the Cesar food again. Also, she is the only one sick. My other 2 dogs have not had the sickness that she has, but they also don't get the Cesar food. It just makes sense.

I thank you for your input but I'm 100% positive that the problems we're experiencing with her are not caused by the Blue Buffalo grain-free food.
