My Bailey is 4 yrs. old and it is still like Christmas each and every morning!

Yorkies are very smart, but do need much attention and some work during the first year, just as a human baby does. They are smart for sure and mine catches on quite quickly to new tricks. I have taught him sign language, as well as the spoken word, when giving commands. It is quite cute to see.
