For understanding a proper vax schedule and for core-vs-elective vaccines, read this: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-overview.html |

It's not. It's the distemper combo. ca2- and ccpvk? I had it written down, as I keep records. I was so focused on delaying the spaying and not give the rabies with the spay (which was suggested) I simply bowled over on the vaccines. I informed my husband that any rabies vaccines would be staggered- INCLUDING boosters- from here on out. Just like my children. It took my youngest child 7 years for her vaccines. I should have listened to my gut. Yes, I know, It's a learning curve. it doesn't make any of this better. I spoke to my childhood best friend and she informed me of some things last night, and I'm feeling a bit happier. She's a vet tech currently going through the training to be a vet. It helps that I have a medical fact list, and I read up on shot statistics. If I didn't live in the desert, despite the fact it's legal or not, I would have hesitated with the rabies in the very first place. But, it's very easy here for her to get bitten, even at a walk. I feel awful and very guilty. edited to add, the breeder gave me SO much information that I should have read the notes closer before popping off with it. My friend told me last night that it wasn't 10 in 1, it was all in 1.
