so funny because I can picture it if I left Scottie's hair au natural over night. It'd be the exact same thing... lol
I'm embarrassed to say that I'm quite lazy and leave his hair for days before combing it again. Scottie manages to leave it relatively tidy, so I've been lazy to comb it out and re-tie it up daily.
But, I've recently tried two new do's since his hair is getting quite long. I too did not want to cut his hair off because it's so precious...I've never cut the hair off his head since he was a puppy (he's now almost 2 yrs).
Anyway, 1) I tried doing a french braid which is very pretty. Fiancé said it makes him look like a klingon from Star Trek. I didn't really care and thought it was pretty. 2) I was inspired by the girl lead character in the new Star Wars movie and tied two top knots similar to hers:
http://i1.mirror.co.uk/incoming/arti...ce-Awakens.jpg One top knot on the top of his head and then a second one further down the back of his head, so that the extra length of the pony tail doesn't flip back up to his face.
P.S. I'm totally not a Star Trek/Wars fan...but somehow Scottie's hairdos were relating to them..haha..
Doubtful this helps in making your hairdo situation simpler, but just wanted to share what I've been doing
