I also use scrunchies for Bella in the beginning I tried a lot of stuff but if its to heavy she would just shake it out. After the scrunchy I will put a braid in and that keeps it looped to the side out of her eyes. For the short hairs I use a bit of hair gel ( mine ) or I have found KY jelly to work as well. Sometimes I will put pigtails in and I use the little rubber bands for that. Hope that helps a bit.
