I'm lucky. My girl has great house/furniture manners but goes nuts once the door is open. She has jumped out of bike basket to chase lizards, birds or leaves…now leashed to basket. She jumps off boat and swims no matter conditions, depth or predator fish that may be around. Again, now leashed into boat. She will go into any body of water, chase anything if we don't see the "pounce stance" and call her back and has never backed down. We finally don't have heart attacks watching her fly up or down the stairs or when she will leap off the 6th step from bottom when going down. This may be why her front teeth are loose?? Love seeing the joy she shows when just being herself. I always have a first aid kit handy. |
