Cathy the more I look over the years of lab works the more frustrated and a little angry I become. This is the complete history of the bun, creatine and ratio since she was a year old.

Year Bun Creatine Ratio
16 23 .08 28.8
15 22.5 .06 no ratio was given & this is when she was sick
14 25 .09 28
13 24 .08 30
12 26 .06 43.3 CH
11 24 .08 30 CH

Sorry I had this typed as a chart but it posted closer together, hope you can understand it

I now see that since she was young she has always had a high B/C ratio, except for the last lab tests all were done by the same vet and she never said anything about it. Plus at least three of the tests especially the high ones had no values next to the ratio nor were they marked high, so until now I did not even know they were high. I read that one of the contributing factors is dehydration, Lola does not act or look dehydrated but I have said ever since I can remember she her she hardly drinks water, we can come in after a long walk and she turns her head up when I try to get her to drink. I figure if I give her some water by force that will be less she will drink out of her bowl so I don't know what to do and I hate to start feeding her wet food.
