I DID design bags. Found a Chinese purse maker who made them for me. I just tried to locate him again recently and the link is no longer valid ( Dammit!) My bags were loosely based on the Juicy bowling bag shape and idea of one side for puppy, on side for mommie. But mine ( I got 2) are black leather, non see through black mesh, and white leather with non see through white mesh. Each one has a faux stiff floor that I can hide a couple of wee wee pads under. Then interchangeable cushion inserts that fit over the faux floor. Each has 3 inserts-A normal pillow cushion, a gel cushion for hot days and a thermal nest cushion. ( Te nest style closes the back side of the bag off with a tunnel kind if shape that has a fur lining , soft padding and insulated outer side to reflect heat back to puppy. When we were in really cold places- she could see out the front mesh side and was snug as a bug in a rug with her body and hiney. BUT.. that said.. the "Non see through" mesh is still kinda see through- especially if the light hits you right. I got caught a few times. So if I could do it again

I'd make one side a breathable stiff weave straw( lined with mesh so doggie isnt tempted to chew on straw) But this time the pups can see through the straw and people CANNOT see in. JCLA makes a bag called the smuggler that has this. I like the idea of a bag that holds its shape on one side to give pup breathing room. But unlike their version- I'd make the ends of the bag solid leather but perforated with a design. AGain you can't see through but allows air circulation. And I would also put a large compartment on the non straw side that would be my purse again. And AGain.. I love my interchangeable cushions so Idd do that again in a heart beat!

I'd make them neutral colors like Black, White/ivory, chocolate brown and Khaki/tan... possibly red....and I'd offer an option to select silver or gold hardware and zippers. OH.. and any zippers have to be METAL! I didn't think to specify that with my first two-and my black bag came with metal and the white one had plastic. THe black one is still kicking after 9 years- but the white zippers all broke after 1.
