Oh yes, I can relate! Thought we were getting a lap dog and we got a gazelle!
I'm not kidding when I say she can jump from about the 5th step up on the staircase to the living room floor when she's playing. You just see a flash go by.
She also loves to lay on the back of the couch so that she can look out a window by our door. The couch can't be right in front of window, so she leans WAY over to see out. Of course if someone walks by, especially with a dog, I don't know how she keeps her balance. She has slipped, but caught herself and landed before she jump tumbled off.
She knows it's a No-No cause she looks at me afterwards with that look.
We bought stairs for our bedroom to get on bed - she'd rather fly up and down.
I am no help except to say that I understand what it's like!
I'm so scared she's going to break a leg. She'd still try to fly while healing.
