So, I do know where you're coming from but the science does not support titre testing past a few weeks/months of puppy inoculations. There are 2 strains of immunity, titres check one which is not valid after a certain point or too simplistic in isolation to confirm immunity.
I can get you some stuff to read, as I know you are very scientifically inclined, but for others, I would suggest speaking to the vet before relying on titre testing and the reasons behind them etc. |
Thanks Misty would love (I think lol) to read what you have. IMO there is much confusion over this topic and passionate beliefs some supported by the medical community and with in the medical community divisive opinions.
My old vet supported titer testing and after my dogs have matured they no longer get vaccinated but titered. That means they have all the core vaccines. I might rethink things if we ever do move out to the country and my dogs potentially are at much higher risk of being in contact with rabid animals.....
