I yell at Kaji when he does that. I promise, i don't do it on purpose. I get so scared when I see him up there. Before I know it, "Whatareyoudoing?You'renotsupposetobeupthere!! " Just comes out! It's enough to get his attention and he slinks off the back of the couch guiltily back to safety. I tend to scoop him up, check for injuries, (there aren't any, since he didn't jump) and give him a cookie for putting up with me.
It's a very flawed system but it works. I need to come up with a nicer way to handle it.
