Wow JadeD, that's so cool that you've had so many dogs! I also agree that the training is a super good bonding experience with the pups. And yorkies are SO smart! And when they get it, we're super happy and they're super happy

I got Scottie when he was 5 months old and didn't realize I could train him right away (but now I know :P).
He's now 1 year and 9 months and has learned to:
touch, leave it, sit, stay, come, fetch, turn around, sit pretty, wave a paw, shake a paw, roll over, play dead, jump through my arms shaped as a hoop, jump through my legs if I do a 'ballerina plie', find a toy that I hide, and my ultimate favourite: clean up your toys!! muahaha..
I tried teaching him names of toys but he just got confused lol
