That is probably a good age to bring home another. She is young enough to still want to play. My older one was well over 9 when I brought the puppies home and you would have though I had just broke his heart. For a few days he wanted nothing to do with me and he is MY dog. I gave him extra attention and love. He was the only one sleeping in my bed at the time as my puppy did not join us in bed until he was there several weeks (the other puppy sleeps with my daughter). He did adjust though. Yours will as well. Do not be upset with the dog if it isn't happy you brought home a new puppy. Just show your dog that you still love just as much as you did before.

I was starting to question if I should have gotten a puppy or not, but then mine came around and started wanting to play with them. They adore him! He is their big brother. Just give it time. It might take a few days, weeks, even months. I only know a few where they never fully got along, but most do so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just give it time and it will come together.
