Minus the red wine, thyme, and tomato paste, this is exactly what I prepared for my son for today....put all the above ingredients in my slow cooker, along with the seasoned roast also sprinkled and rubbed on both sides with a package of Au Jus gravy mix from McCormick and 1/3 cup water, set cooker on 8 hours and turned on at 2:30am when we went to bed....lunch was served at 11am today! I also fixed some zucchinni and yellow squash mixed and steamed, some green beans, and fresh fruit salad and hot rolls. With 4 teeth left in my head following full mouth extraction, preparing for implants and bridges, I had apple sauce, pudding, and some strawberry ice cream...... |
