Pot Roast        Have not had it in an age - but how how delish!  Here in is the recipe - will easily serve 6 folk   
1  blade or chuck roast about 3 lbs 
1 cup beef bouillon 
1/3 cup red wine and mix in 3tblsp of tomatoe paste 
2 Tblsp of Worchester sauce.    
1 lb potatoes quartered 
3 large carrots cut into 1/2 inch pieces 
1 large onion  quartered then halved again 
3 cloves of garlic or more to taste.   
3 springs tyme    
\braise the seasoned (sea salt and pepper)beef in tblsp of butter   add to slow cooker  Rub the crushed gralic over the beef.    
Add meat and veges and liquids to the slow cooker  Cook on high for 5 hrs or on slow for 8 hrs. 
then scrape up bits from the pan and make a thick roux.
