I would really like to take, Milo is 10 years old now and I think can benefit from having a younger dog in the house. I know she saw a vet and has gotten her shots and they will still need to spay her before she is ready to leave the shelter. I plan on asking if I can speak with the Vet that saw her so I know what exactly I would be getting myself into. Does anyone have any experience or words of wisdom for me? I really thing she came into my life for a reason but I want to do what is best for her.

Thanks
The fact that you already know she has problems but still wanting her speaks volume of how much you already care for her. Go with your instinct.
