I trim the anal area for Emma. Even sometimes with a formed stool if her hair is too long it may get caught so she'll scoot to try and get it out and it makes it worse hence a bath shortly after. Although, others have given some feedback if the stools are soft/wet she may need a change in diet given stools should be more firm.
